but once I stepped into this program, I was never the best student in class; I was never part of the dean's list nor
received any 1.0 grade in any accounting subject. Rather, I was the student who humbly asked for reconsideration from
my college professors if they could adjust a point or two just for me to reach a passing grade in their subjects.
The September-October 2023 CPALE was my 2nd take on the final and most challenging stage of my accountancy journey - to
pass the CPALE. When I took the boards last October 2022, I enrolled in an online class; however, I found it difficult
to focus due to my short attention span. Therefore, this year, I decided to enroll in the face-to-face review of PRIA,
which I heard from colleagues provides quality review and is accessible from my place. Glad, I made the right decision.
